Best Sustainability Initiative recognised the Mint’s bold move to remove plastic from its packaging — including the SpongeBob SquarePants – SpongeBob and Friends 2024 1oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin.
This collectible was released in plastic-free, FSC-certified cardboard packaging with a paper pulp insert, making it fully biodegradable and recyclable.

Best Packaging celebrated the vibrant presentation of the SpongeBob SquarePants 2oz Silver Proof Gilded Coin, launched for the show’s 25th anniversary.
The coin comes in a detailed replica of SpongeBob’s pineapple house, housed in a themed box with a bespoke sleeve — a standout design in every sense.
